Adjusting the Volume and Selecting the Right Program

You'll learn how to adjust the volume to a comfortable level and switch between different listening programs tailored to specific environments.

Step 1
Charging Your Hearing Aids
  1. Connect to Power: Use the provided USB cable to connect your charging case to a power supply. Make sure both the case and hearing aids are placed correctly in the charging slots

  2. Indicator Lights:

    • Fully Charged: When all three lights on the case turn green, both the case and the hearing aids are fully charged.

    • Still Charging: If lights are flashing, it indicates that the charging process is still ongoing. Please wait until all lights turn solid green.

  3. Charging Time: A full charging cycle, including both the case and the hearing aids, typically takes around 3 hours

  4. Ready for Use:

    • Hearing Aids: When the left and right green lights are on (not flashing), your hearing aids are ready for use (for 20 hours)

    • Charging Case: If the center vertical green light is on (not flashing), your charging case is ready for use, and can provide 3 charging cycles to your hearing aids (total of 60 hours)

Tip: Always ensure that both the case and the hearing aids are fully charged before heading out to ensure uninterrupted usage

Step 2 (most critical!)
Selecting the Right Ear Dome and Avoiding Whistles
(Video)

Whistling sounds from your hearing aids may occur for various reasons, such as improper positioning, wax blockage, damaged components, or excessive volume. This whistling, also known as "feedback," happens when amplified sound loops back into the microphone, causing re-amplification.

Choosing the Correct Ear Dome

Select an ear dome (S/M/L) that fits snugly and comfortably in your ear canal. When there's an air gap, it can cause feedback that leads to a loud whistle. Experiment with different sizes until you achieve the ideal fit.The right fit will enhance sound quality and comfort

Fitting

Insert the dome gently into your ear canal, ensuring it sits securely without causing discomfort. Ensure it fits snugly and comfortably.

Reduce Volume

Before inserting the hearing aid, ensure the volume is turned off or lowered to reduce the risk of feedback.

Clear Ear Canal

Regularly check and clean your ear canal to prevent wax or debris buildup, which can contribute to whistling.

Inspect Components

If whistling persists, inspect the earpiece and tubing for any damage or blockages. Consider changing to a new or different size earpiece if necessary.

Tip: Experiment with different sizes if the initial dome doesn't feel comfortable or if you experience feedback. Proper fitting is critical!

Adjustment Period

It's essential to remember that there is an adjustment period when using new hearing aids. Allow yourself time to get accustomed to the devices, as your brain adapts to processing new sounds.

  • 1st week - Spend 1-2 hours per day in a calm environment.

  • 2nd week - Spend 3-4 hours per day taking walks in the park.

  • 3rd week - Resume regular visits to public places.

  • 4th week - Visit various places without any restrictions.
